Abstract:【Objective】To explore the influence of discharge preparation service on blood glucose management and discharge guidance quality of inpatients with diabetes mellitus. 【Methods】Eighty patients with type 2 diabetes who were hospitalized in the Department of endocrinology of Xiangya Hospital from May to July 2018 were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 40 cases each. The control group received routine nursing, the observation group received discharge preparation service on the basis of the control group, and compared the quality of blood glucose management and discharge guidance between the two groups. 【Results】The rate of blood glucose in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the total score of discharge guidance quality in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Discharge preparation service can improve the quality of blood glucose management and discharge guidance for diabetic patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
