Evaluation and Application Prospect of Iron Protein Succinate Oral Solution Combined with Nutrition and Health Care in the Treatment of Children with NIDA |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the clinical effect of iron protein succinate oral solution combined with nutritional health intervention in the treatment of children with nutritional iron deficiency anemia(NIDA).【Methods】A total of 82 children with NIDA treated in the Ankang Central Hospital of Shaanxi Province from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to treatment methods, with 41 cases in each group. Both groups were given nutrition and health care interventions, the control group was given ferrous sulfate tablets, and the observation group was given iron protein succinate oral solution. Hemoglobin (Hb) and red blood cell count (RBC) were compared between the two groups, and the clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.【Results】Before treatment, there was no significant difference in Hb and RBC levels between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, Hb and RBC levels in 2 groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.68% (38/41), higher than that of the control group 75.61%(31/41), and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.479, P<0.05). There was statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P<0.05).【Conclusion】Iron protein succinate oral solution combined with nutritional intervention in the treatment of children with NIDA has good clinical efficacy and high safety, and is worthy of promotion.
