Abstract  【Objective】To investigate the effect of supervised pelvic floor rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation on urinary dynamics in postpartum stress urinary incontinence (SUI) patients. 【Methods】A total of 260 postpartum SUI patients from two hospitals were randomly divided into two groups, with 130 patients in each group. The patients in the control group received supervised pelvic floor rehabilitation training, while patients in the observation group received supervised pelvic floor rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation. The treatment outcomes, incidence of complications, changes in functional urethral length (LES), maximum urethral closure pressure (PMUC), maximum urethral measurement pressure (PMU), progesterone (P), luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), as well as the scores of the Incontinence Quality of Life Questionnaire (I-QOL) and Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The total effective rate in the observation group was 90.77%(118/130), which was significantly higher than 78.46%(102/130) in the control group. After treatment, the levels of LES, PMUC, PMU, P, LH, E2, I-QOL scores, and FSFI scores in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05). Furthermore, the observation group after treatment showed higher levels of the above parameters than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 10.77%(14/130), which was significantly lower than the 20.00%(26/130) in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Supervised pelvic floor rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation can more effectively improve urinary dynamic indicators in postpartum SUI patients to result in better treatment outcomes.
