Effect of Vacuum Sealing Drainage Combined with Hyperbaric Oxygen on Large Area Soft Tissue Trauma of Extremities and Effect on IFN-γ and TNF-α |

Abstract 【Objective】 To explore the effect of vacuum sealing drainage combined with hyperbaric oxygen on large area soft tissue trauma of extremities and its effect on tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interferon- γ(IFN-γ). 【Methods】 From April 2019 to April 2022,100 patients with large area soft tissue trauma of extremities admitted to the Third Hospital of Shandong Province were randomly divided into the drainage group and the combined group,with 50 patients in each group. The drainage group was treated with negative pressure sealing drainage alone,while the combined group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen in addition to the negative pressure sealing drainage. After 2 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy,wound dressing change frequency,hospitalization time,pain degree and inflammatory indicators TNF-α and IFN-γ and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups were compared. 【Results】 The clinical effect of the combined group was better than that of the drainage group (P<0.05),and the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the drainage group (P<0.05). The overall analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment (P<0.05). The VAS scores of the two groups after 48 hours and 2 weeks of treatment were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment,the VAS score of the combined group was lower than that of the drainage group (P<0.05). The serum TNF-α and IFN-γ levels in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).【Conclusion】 The application of negative pressure sealing drainage combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of large area soft tissue trauma of extremities is more conducive to promoting the recovery of patients' wounds,inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors,relieving patients' postoperative pain,and improving the treatment effect and safety.
