Effect of L-arginine Combined with Whole Protein Compound Preparation on Immune Function and Tumor Marker Level in Patients after Radical Resection of Esophageal Cancer |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the effect of L-arginine combined with whole protein compound preparation on immune function and tumor marker level in patients after radical resection of esophageal cancer. 【Methods】 A total of 98 patients undergoing radical resection of esophageal cancer in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 49 patients in each group. Patients in the observation group received L-arginine combined with whole protein compound preparation after operation, and patients in the control group received glucose saline enteral nutrition after operation. The levels of T lymphocyte subsets (CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), cytokeratin 19 serum segment 21-1 (CYFRA21-1), albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PA), transferrin (TRF), urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Scr), alanyl aminotransferase (ALT) Aspartate transferase (AST) in the two groups before treatment and after treatment were compared. 【Results】 After treatment, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and CD8+ was significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and CD8+ was significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); After treatment, CEA, CA19-9, CA125, CYFRA21-1 in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); After treatment, ALB, PA and TRF in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in BUN, Scr, ALT and AST between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 L-arginine combined with whole protein compound preparation can improve the nutritional status and immune function of patients after radical resection of esophageal cancer, and reduce the level of tumor markers.
