Abstract  【Objective】To investigate the correlation between immunoglobulin level and vitamin A, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and interleukin-1 (IL-1) in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection. 【Methods】 A total of 75 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection (observation group) treated in our hospital from September 2019 to September 2020 were selected, and 75 healthy children with physical examination in the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of immunoglobulin (IGA, IgG, IgM), vitamin A, hs-CRP and IL-1 were compared between the two groups. The value of immunoglobulin and vitamin A, hs-CRP and IL-1 in predicting recurrent respiratory tract infection was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and the correlation between immunoglobulin level and vitamin A, hs CRP and IL-1 was analyzed. 【Results】The levels of IgA, IgM, IgG, vitamin A and IL-1 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the level of hs-CRP was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that vitamin A and IL-1 were positively correlated with IgA, IgM and IgG (P<0.05), and hs-CRP was negatively correlated with IgA, IgM and IgG (P<0.05). The AUC of IgA, IgM, IgG, vitamin A, hs-CRP and IL-1 in predicting recurrent respiratory tract infection were 0.881, 0.685, 0.665, 0.832, 0.919 and 0.966 respectively (all P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Recurrent respiratory tract infection is closely related to the levels of immunoglobulin, vitamin A, hs-CRP and IL-1. Vitamin A and IL-1 are positively correlated with immunoglobulin. An appropriate amount of vitamin A can be supplemented according to the specific situation of children.
