Abstract  【Objective】To investigate the relationship between Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection with hBD-2,PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and Th 1/Th2 levels in children with peptic ulcer (PU),and its influencing factors. 【Methods】A total of 84 children with PU treated in our hospital was divided into HP positive group (n=31) and HP negative group (n=53) according to the situation of HP infection. The baseline data, inflammatory score, hBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and Th1/Th2 levels of the two groups were compared. The correlation between hBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and Th1/Th2 and inflammatory score and HP infection was analyzed to explore the influencing factors of HP infection in children with PU. 【Results】The scores of hBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and inflammation in the HP positive group were higher than those in the HP negative group, and Th1/Th2 were lower than those in the HP negative group (P<0.05). HBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ were positively correlated with the inflammatory score of HP positive children, and Th1/Th2 was negatively correlated with the inflammatory score of HP positive children (P<0.05); HBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ were positively correlated with HP infection, and Th1/Th2 was negatively correlated with HP infection (P<0.05). The history of gastrointestinal diseases, good personal hygiene, meal sharing, finger sucking, hBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and Th1/Th2 were the influencing factors of HP infection in children with PU (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】HP infection in children with PU is closely related to the imbalance of hBD-2, PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ and Th1/Th2 levels, as well as personal hygiene and the history of gastrointestinal diseases of caregivers.
