Abstract  【Objective】To investigate the changes and significance of thyroid function parameters and thyroid autoantibodies in patients with hyperemesis gravidarum. 【Methods】A total of 60 patients with hyperemesis gravidarum (the observation group) and 60 cases of normal pregnant women (the control group) were selected from January 2015 to December 2018 in our hospital. Serum free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), thyrotropin (TSH), thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) were detected in the two groups. 【Results】The levels FT3 and FT4 in the observation group were (4.78 ±0.82) and (19.82±3.44) pmol/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), while the TSH was (0.69±0.21) mIU/L, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant difference in the positive rates of TgAb and TPOAb between the observation group and the control group (P>0.05). In the observation group, FT3 and FT4 levels of parturients with hyperemesis gravidarum score ≥8 were (5.02±0.91) pmol/L and (21.15±2.81) pmol/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of parturients with score < 8 (P<0.05), while TSH level was (0.61±0.19) mIU/L, which was significantly lower than those of parturients with score < 8 (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The serum levels of FT3 and FT4 in hyperemesis gravidarum patients are significantly increased and TSH is significantly decreased, which may be related to the condition of hyperemesis gravidarum , but the positive rate of thyroid autoantibody has no significant change.
