Abstract  【Objective】 To investigate the level and significance of superoxide dismutase (SOD), nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase 4 (NOX4) and oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) in patients with coronary heart disease. 【Methods】 From May 2017 to may 2018, 84 patients with coronary heart disease were selected, including 39 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS group), 45 patients with stable angina pectoris (SAP group) and 50 healthy volunteers as the control group. The levels of ox-LDL, SOD and NOX4 were compared in each group. The coronary stenosis was scored by Gensini method. The correlation between the levels of ox-LDL, SOD and NOX4 and Gensini score was analyzed. 【Results】 The serum SOD level of the ACS group and the SAP group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the serum NOX4 and ox LDL levels were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); the serum SOD level of the ACS group was significantly lower than that of the SAP group, and the serum NOX4 and ox-LDL levels were significantly higher than that of the SAP group (P<0.05). The Gensini score of the ACS group was (38.16±3.70), which was significantly higher than that of the SAP group (30.41±4.64). The difference was statistically significant (t=-8.374, P<0.05). There was a negative correlation between SOD and Gensini score (r= -0.354, P<0.05), and a positive correlation between NOx 4, ox-LDL and Gensini score (r=0.322, 0.315, P<0.05).【Conclusion】 The serum SOD level of patients with coronary heart disease decreased significantly, while the serum NOX4、ox-LDL level increased significantly, and the serum SOD、NOX4、ox-LDL level was closely related to the Gensini score of patients with coronary heart disease.
