Abstract【Objective】To investigate the effect of fast track surgery (FTS) on perioperative period of children with hypospadias undergoing Snodgrass operation. 【Methods】From May 2018 to February 2019, 76 children with hypospadias who underwent Snodgrass operation in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group (n=38) and control group (n=38). The patients in the observation group were given FTS comprehensive nursing during the perioperative period. The recovery index, complication rate and nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were compared. 【Results】The first defecation time, hospitalization days, average crying time and postoperative incidence of urinary fistula in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group, and the total satisfaction rate of nursing at discharge was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences on operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, incidences of incision swelling, bleeding and infection between two groups (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】FTS nursing is satisfactory in children with hypospadias undergoing Snodgrass operation. It could significantly promote postoperative rehabilitation, prevent the occurrence of urinary fistula and improve nursing satisfaction, which is worth popularizing.
