Abstract  【Objective】To explore the factors that influenced the onset of diabetic nephropathy (DN) in patients with type 1 diabetes. 【Methods】A total of 142 patients admitted to our hospital with type 1 diabetes were selected. According to whether there is DN, patients were divided into DN group and non-DN group. The clinical data of patients were collected, including gender, age, duration of diabetes, blood uric acid. Taking DN as an independent variable and other related indicators as the dependent variable, logistic single factor and multivariate regression analysis were used to explore the factors influencing the pathogenesis of DN in patients with type 1 diabetes 【Results】In the DN group, the duration of diabetes, HbA1C, diastolic blood pressure, blood uric acid and Hb were(8.31±2.28)years,(10.21±3.41)%,(81.59±12.72)mmHg、(306.38±129.02)μmol/L and(116.82±20.31)g/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the non-DN group, i.e.(4.06±1.96)years,(9.41±2.51)%,(75.24±9.61)mmHg,(258.49±92.17)μmol/L and(131.41±14.41)g/L,respectively. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that the duration of diabetes ≥ 5 years, HbA1C, serum uric acid, diastolic blood pressure, Hb were associated with the onset of DN (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the duration of diabetes ≥5 years, HbA1C, diastolic blood pressure, blood uric acid and Hb were independent risk factors for DN (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Diabetes duration ≥ 5 years, HbA1C, diastolic blood pressure, blood uric acid and Hb are independent risk factors for the onset of DN, therefore patients with type 1 diabetes should actively control blood pressure, blood sugar, and uric acid levels.
