| Effect of Network Education Management on Health Behavior and Quality of Life of Patients with Ulcerative Colitis |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the effect of network education management on health behavior and quality of life of patients with ulcerative colitis. 【Methods】 One hundred and eight patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to our hospital from February 2016 to July 2018 were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 54 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing management including psychological intervention, health education, dietary guidance, prevention of complications and follow-up. The observation group was combined with network education management on the basis of the control group. One month after discharge, health behavior completion rate, disease activity index and quality of life score were compared between the two groups.【Results】 The completion rate of taking medicine on time, reasonable diet and regular review in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); the disease activity index was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the scores of intestinal symptoms, emotional function, systemic symptoms and social function were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Network education management is helpful to promote the development of healthy behavior ability of ulcerative colitis patients, control disease activity, and improve the quality of life.
