Abstract  【Objective】To explore the effect of feedback health education on postoperative rehabilitation training in aspects of knowledge, belief and practice (KBP) in elderly patients with femoral neck fracture.【Methods】Nightly-six elderly patients with femoral neck fracture treated in our hospital from January 2014 to March 2017 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 48 cases in each group. The control group was given routine health education for post-operative rehabilitation, while the observation group was given feedback health education on the basis of the control group. The scores of knowledge, belief and behavior, rehabilitation effect and satisfaction of post-operative rehabilitation were compared between the two groups.【Results】At discharge, the knowledge, attitude and behavior scores of rehabilitation training in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); the Harris hip function score and improved Barthel index (MBI) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05) after 6 months of follow-up (P<0.05); and the satisfaction was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】Feedback-based health education can help to improve the level of postoperative rehabilitation training and KBP level of patients with femoral neck fracture in the elderly, promote joint function recovery, and maintain a good relationship between nurses and patients.
