| Effect of Qing Re Xiao Du Soup Combined with Phentolamine on Immune Inflammation and Hemodynamics in Patients with Severe Sepsis |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the effect of Qing Re Xiao Du Soup (dissolving decoction) combined with Phentolamine on immune inflammation and hemodynamics in patients with severe sepsis. 【Methods】A total of 96 patients with severe sepsis were random divided into two groups with 48 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with Phentolamine injections were administered on the basis of routine treatment, while patients in the observation group were treated with Qing Re Xiao Du Soup on the basis of phentolamine injections. The clinical efficacy, immune inflammation index, hemodynamic index and adverse reactions of the two groups were recorded and compared. 【Results】The total effective rate was 97.9% (47/48) in the observation group, which was higher than 85.4% (41/48) in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, levels of CD4+, CD8+, IL- 6, CRP and PCT in the observation group were improved significantly better than those in the control group (P <0.01). After treatment, the cardiac index (CI), extravascular lung water index (EVLWI), systemic vascular resistance index (SVRI), and intrathoracic blood volume index (ITBVI) were significantly improved in both groups (P<0.05). The improvement of each index in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were no adverse reactions during the treatment period.【Conclusion】 Qing Re Xiao Du Soup combined with phentolamine is effective in the treatment of severe sepsis and can obviously improve the immune inflammatory reaction and hemodynamic index of the patients.
