Abstract  【Objective】 To explore the clinical effect of comminuted femoral fractures bridging internal fixation system in the treatment of distal femur fracture. 【Methods】 From Jane 2015 to Jane 2017, 29 patients with distal femoral fracture were treated with bridging combined internal fixation system were selected as observation group and 30 patients with anatomical locking plate internal fixation as control group. The indexes of operation, postoperative indexes and the rate of limb function between the two groups were compared to evaluate the clinical effect of the two kinds of internal fixation.【Results】 The operative time and intraoperative bleeding in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the time of fracture healing and hospitalization were significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). There were no postoperative complications in the observation group and one case in the control group.【Conclusion】 Comminuted femoral fractures bridging internal fixation system has the advantages of simple operation, flexible application, saving operation time, reducing intraoperative bleeding, shortening fracture healing time and hospitalization time, and high recovery rate of limb function, which is worthy of clinical application.
