Relationship between Adiponectin Dynamic Changes and Left Ventricular Systolic Function in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction before and after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the relationship between the adiponectin (APN) dynamic changes and left ventricular systolic function in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) before and after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). 【Methods】A total of 100 cases of AMI patients treated with elective PCI in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected as the observation group, and 90 healthy examiners with the matching gender and age were selected as the control group. The levels of APN were detected in the both group before PCI as well as 1 month and 3 months after operation. The two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging was used to detect the left ventricular systolic function [left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVESV), left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)] of the observation group. The correlation between APN and LVESV, LVESD, LVEF was analyzed. 【Results】The APN level before operation, 1 month and 3 months after operation were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P<0.05). The APN level of the observation group was higher at 1 month and 3 months after operation than it was before operation (P<0.05), and the APN level at 3 months after operation was higher than that at 1 month before operation (P<0.05). The levels of LVESV and LVESD at 1 month or 3 months after operation in the observation group were lower than those before operation, while the LVEF level was higher than that before operation (P<0.05).The levels of LVESV and LVESD at 3 months after operation were lower than those at 1 month after operation, while the LVEF level was higher than that at 1 month after operation (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum APN was negatively correlated with the LVESV and LVESD (r=-0.716, -0.618,P<0.05), and positively correlated with LVEF (r=0.689,P<0.05). 【Conclusion】APN level of AMI patients after PCI is closely related with left ventricular systolic function.
