Abstract 【Objective】To observe the effect of different dialysis membrane on the prognosis of patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). 【Methods】One hundred and five patients with MHD were divided into three groups according to different dialysis membrane. There were 35 patients with maintenance hemodialysis in each group. Group A was dialyzed with B-16H hollow fiber hemodialyzer, group B was dialyzed with F15 hollow fiber hemodialyzer and group C was treated with CA-HP-150 hemodialyzer. Depression levels were evaluated by self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS). Meanwhile blood C reaction protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), advanced glycosylation end products (AGEs), the levels of three groups of parathyroid hormone (PTH), phosphorus (P), calcium (Ca), serum albumin (ALb), and hemoglobin level (Hb) were measured. 【Results】There were no significant differences in terms of SAS and SDS scores among three groups before treatment (P>0.05). After different dialysis, the SAS and SDS scores in group C were lower than those in group A and B (P<0.05). The levels of CRP, IL-6,AGEs,PTH, and P in group C were significantly lower than those in group A and B (P<0.05). The Ca,Alb, and Hb levels of group C were significantly higher than those of group A and B (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】CA-Hp-150 hemodialyzer is an ideal therapy for maintenance hemodialysis patients. It can improve the patients' mineral metabolism disorders and alleviate the depressive symptoms. It is worthy of popularization and application.
