| Observation of Inactivation Effect of Liushen Pill Combined with Paraformaldehyde Devitalizing Agent for Chronic Milk Teeth of Pulpitis |

Abstract 【Objective】To observe inactivation effect of liushen pill combined with paraformaldehyde devitalizing agent for chronic milk teeth of pulpitis. 【Methods】A total of 108 children with chronic milk teeth of pulpitis treated in dental clinic of our hospital from June 2013 to June 2015 were selected as the research objects, they were divided by random number table into the observation group (n=58) and the control group (n=50). Liushen pill and paraformaldehyde devitalizing agent were used to carry on pulp devitalization in the observation group, paraformaldehyde devitalizing agent was used in the control group. Pain situation after the medicine, excellent rate of inactivation and complication rate in the two groups were compared. 【Results】94.8% (55/58) patients had no pain or mild pain after the medicine in the observation group, which was significantly higher than the control group [72.0% (36/50)](P<0.05). Excellent rate of inactivation in the observation group was 93.0% (54/58), which was significantly higher than the control group [70% (35/50)](P<0.05). No complications occurred in the observation group, complication rate in the control group was 8%(4/50), there was a significant difference in the two groups (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Application of liushen pill and paraformaldehyde devitalizing agent in deciduous molar inactivation can strengthen inactivation effect and pain inhibitory effect effectively with high security, has a high reference and application value.
