| Effect of Long-Term Antiviral Therapy on General Test Indexes and Hepatic Perfusion Parameters in Patients with Compensated Hepatitis B Cirrhosis |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the effect of long-term antiviral therapy on general test indexes and hepatic perfusion parameters in patients with compensated hepatitis B (HBV) cirrhosis. 【Methods】Sixty-nine patients with compensated hepatitis B cirrhosis treated between June 2012 and January 2015 were studied. All received long-term antiviral therapy, including 45 cases that received entecavir therapy and 24 cases that received adefovir dipivoxil therapy. The medication lasted for 144 weeks. The changes of liver function indexes, hepatitis B virus gene (HBV-DNA), Child-Pugh scores, liver tissue inflammation activity and liver fibrosis stage before and after medication were compared. In addition, CT hepatic perfusion scan was performed before and after medication. The changes of hepatic arterial perfusion (HAP) and total liver perfusion (TLP) were observed; the incidence of adverse drug reactions was recorded. 【Results】 After 144 weeks of medication, the levels of total bilirubin (TBIL), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT), prothrombin time (PT), HBV-DNA and Child-Pugh score were significantly lower while albumin (Alb) level was significantly higher than that before medication(P<0.05). After 144 weeks of medication, liver tissue inflammation activity and liver fibrosis stage were significantly improved (P<0.05). There were significant differences in total liver perfusion (TLP), hepatic arterial perfusion (HAP), hepatic venous perfusion (HPP) and hepatic arterial perfusion index (HPI) before medication and after 114 weeks of medication (P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions. 【Conclusion】Long-term antiviral therapy can significantly improve general test indexes of liver function and hepatic perfusion parameters in patients with compensated hepatitis B cirrhosis.
