Abstract [Objective] To explore the efficacy and safety of domestic semiconductor laser treatment of moderate‐to‐severe acne .[Methods]A total of 100 moderate‐to‐severe acne patients were randomly divided in‐to observation and control groups ( n=50 each) .The observation group received domestic semiconductor laser therapy (wavelength:650 and 810nm .power :400~450W ,once daily ,10 min/time for 14 day ;twice daily , 10 min/times for 14 days) .The control group received Roxithromycin Capsules (1 tablet twice daily) ,vitamin B6 tablets (2 tablets thrice daily) and green ointment (twice daily ,topical) .Clinical efficacy ,adverse events during treatment , resolution time and recurrence within 3 months after treatment were compared for two groups .[Results] The efficiency of observation group was lower than that of control group (82% vs 86% ) . The differences were not statistically significant ( P > 0 .05) .The incidence of pigmentation and recurrence rate of rash in observation group were lower than those in control group .And the differences were statistically significant ( P <0 .05) .[Conclusion] For moderate‐to‐severe acne ,the clinical efficacy of domestic semicon‐ductor laser technology is satisfactory .And it is worthy of wider promotions .
