Abstract Objective] To analyze the variation degree of the implement of clinical pathway in correction of ky‐phosis in ankylosing spondylitis in order to find out the shortage of clinical pathway and provide some measures to improve the clinical pathway .[Methods]The data of 350 patients with the indication of correction of kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis from Jan .2012 to Dec .2013 were collected .According to the criteria and type of variation , the data were analyzed by statistical method .[Results] Among 350 patients ,290 patients had 16 types of varia‐tions mainly including negative variation ,patients'condition variation and uncontrollable variation .[Conclusion]In the clinical pathway of correction of kyphosis on ankylosing spondylitis ,the operational process should be im‐proved ,the detailed inclusive and exclusive criterion should be made ,and the transition of diagnosis and treatment of community hospital and convalescent hospital should be enforced so as to better carry out clinical pathway of correction of kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis ,and then raise the quality of treatment and care ,decrease hospital stay and reduce hospitalization cost .
