Abstract Objective]To explore the relationship of hepatitis B virus(HBV) cccDNA with serum HBV DNA and HBeAg in liver tissues of patients with hepatitis B .[Methods]HBV cccDNA and serum HBV DNA in liver tis‐sues of patients with hepatitis B were detected by real‐time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction ,and serum HBeAg was detected by chemiluminescence method .[Results]HBV cccDNA in liver tissue was positively cor‐related with serum HBV DNA( r=0 .806 ,P<0 .01) ,but was not correlated with serum HBeAg( r=0 .219 ,P<0 .05) .[Conclusion]Virus replication in serum HBeAg positive group is more active than that in serum HBeAg nega‐tive group .Negative HBVDNA can not fully reflect HBV replication in liver tissues ,but the detection of HBV cccD‐NA in liver tissues can accurately reflect the replication of intrahepatic HBV .
