Abstract Objective] To observe the effect of morphine postconditioning on myocardial mitochondrial permeability transition pore(MPTP) in male rats with myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury .[Methods]A total of 48 S‐D male rats with weight 170~260g were randomly divided into sham operation group(group C) , ischemia reperfusion group(I/R group) ,morphine postconditioning group(MP group) and morphine plus at‐ractyloside group(MAP group) with 12 rats in each group .Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury model was established by ligation of remus descendens anterior arteriae coronariae sinistrae for 30min and reperfusion for 90min .After reperfusion ,myocardial cell structure was observed by HE staining method .The percentage of myocardial infarction area/infarction ischemia area(IS/AAR) ,myocardial malondialdehyde(MDA) in myocar‐dium were measured .[Results] Compared with I/R group ,hemodynamics of MP group were markedly im‐proved ,and IS/AAR% and MDA content were markedly increased .[Conclusion] Morphine postconditioning can significantly attenuate myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury .MPTP may be the action pathway of mor‐phine postconditioning for protecting the myocardium .
