Abstract To explore the impact of new targeted therapy drug lapatinib on transplanted tumor of nude mouse from human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 .[Methods]Human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 was inoculated into subcutaneous tissue of nude mouse's chest wall in order to establish nude mouse model with transplanted tumor of ovarian cancer successfully .Then they were randomly divided into blank control group (group A) and experimental group (group B) ,experimental group were divided into two subgroups by differ-ent drug concentrations of lapatinib :100mg/kg(B1 ) and 200 mg/kg(B2 ) ,the changes of the volume of bearing cancer and the weight of nude mouse before and after lapatinib treatment were examined .[Results] Lapatinib can markedly inhibit the proliferation of transplanted tumor in nude mouse from SKOV 3 in a dose-dependent manner .The tumor inhibition rate of group B2 was markedly higher than that of group B1 ,and there was sig-nificant difference between two groups( P<0 .05) ,but there was no significant difference in mouse weight be-tween before and after medication ( P > 0 .05) .[Conclusion]Lapatinib can markedly reduce the volume of transplanted tumor in nude mouse from human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV 3 ,and provide the theoretical ba-sis for its application in ovarian cancer .
