Abstract [Obj ective]To explore the pathogen distribution and drug resistance of patients with urinary system infection.[Methods]Urine specimens of 183 patients with urinary system infection were collected for pathogen iden-tification and Escherichia coli drug resistance in vitro.[Results]The infection rate of gram-negative bacilli,gram-posi-tive cocci and fungi in urinary system infection was 84.15%,14.21% and 1.64%,respectively.The top three pathogens were Escherichia coli(63.93%),klebsiella pneumonia(7.65%)and Enterococcus faecium(4.92%).There were 70 strains of Escherichia coli producing extended spectumβ-lactamases (ESBLs),which the positive rate was 59.83%.The drug resistance of Escherichia coli to penicillin and cephalosporins was higher, while the drug sensitivi-ty to carbapenem was higher, and the drug resistance to piperacillin/tazobactam,nitrofurantoin and amikacin was lower.[Conclusion]Escherichia coli is the most common pathogen in patients with urinary system infection of our hospital. The drug resistance of Escherichia coli to penicillin and cephalosporins is higher.
