Abstract [Obj ective]To compare the clinical effect of gastroscopy combined with laparoscopy vs.tradi-tional laparotomy surgery for the treatment of early gastric cancer.[Methods]Totally 5 6 patients with early gastric cancer in our hospital from April 2012 to April 2013 were chosen and randomly divided into conserva-tion group and control group with 28 patients in each group. The observation group underwent gastroscopy combined with laparoscopy, while the control group underwent traditional laparotomy surgery. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative recovery time of intestinal function, hospitalization time and postoperative complications of two groups were observed and compared.[Results]Intraoperative blood loss, postoperative recovery time of intestinal function and hospitalization time in observation group were markedly better than the control group(P <0.05).The postoperative complications such as lung infection, urinary tract inflammation, pleural effusion and wound infection in observation group were obviously lower than those in the control group.[Conclusion]Compared with traditional laparotomy surgery, gastroscopy combined with laparoscopy for the treatment of early gastric cancer can shorten the treatment time and reduce the pain, and is safe and reliable,so it is safe and feasible method. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
