Abstract [Obj ective]To explore the value of three kinds of lithotripsy in the treatment of complicated bladder calculi.[Methods]Clinical data of 1 2 6 patients with complicated bladder calculus undergoing surgical treatment in our hospital were analyzed.Among 126 patients,55 patients were single stones with diameter 2.5~4.7cm,and 71 patients were multiple stones with minimum diameter≥1.0cm.Of all patients,33 patients underwent pneumatic lithotripsy, and 5 1 patients underwent ultrasonic lithotripsy by using Swiss EMS sys-tem,and 42 patients underwent holmium laser.Iintraoperative flushing water volume, blood loss, operative time, postoperative hospital stay, bladder mucosal inj ury and postoperative cystospasm ratio were analyzed and compared among 3 groups.[Results]Transurethral bladder calculi of 126 patients were removed for one time. None turned to the operation.Except long operative time in holmium laser group, the other indicators were better than the other groups(P<0.05).Except flushing water volume in EMS group, there was no signifi-cant difference in other indicators between EMS group and pneumatic lithotripsy group(P>0.05).[Conclu-sion]Holmium laser for the treatment of complicated bladder calculi can effectively prevent intraoperative stone drift and too more flushing water, and reduce bladder inj ury, postoperative bladder spasms and postoperative hospital stay.
