Abstract [Obj ective]To explore the efficacy of laparoscopic super low rectal cancer radical resection with anal preservation.[Methods]Clinical data of 5 9 patients with super low rectal cancer undergoing anterior rectal cancer resection by laparoscopy in our department from Jan.2010 to Dec.2012 were analyzed retrospectively.[Results]All patients completed laparoscopic surgery successfully.No one converted to open surgery.The success rate of anal preservation was 100%.No intraoperative death was found.The average operation time was (147 ± 38)min.Lymph nodes(5~12)were removed.The average bleeding volume was (123±47)mL. The time of intestinal function recovery after operation was 2~4 days.The hospitalization time was 8~1 7 days.[Conclusion]Laparoscopic super low rectal cancer radical resection with anal preservation is safe and fea-sible.
