Abstract [Objective]To explore the efficacy and adverse reaction of fractionated stereotactic radiothera-py(FSRT)for the treatment of brain metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLS).[Methods]Totally 32 NSCLC brain metastasis patients with kaznofsky (KPS)>60 were treated with whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT)36~40Gy in advance and then received FSRT.Single dose around target region was 3~5Gy.Total radiation dose was 15~20Gy in 3~5 fractions with 50% of isodose curve planning target volume(PTV)cover-ing the target edge. The efficacy and adverse reaction was analyzed.[Results]All patients completed whole course of radiotherapy. No obvious adverse reaction and complication was found.Median overall survival was 11.6 months(95%CI:8.6~13.2).The 1-year and 2-year survival time were 30.4% and 11.2%,respective-ly.The remission rate of clinical symptoms was 82.6%.Local tumor control rate was 91.7%.Compared be-fore treatment,KPS scores 1 month after treatment were obviously improved, and there was significant differ-ence(P<0.05).[Conclusion]FSRT for disease progression patients with brain metastasis of lung cancer af-ter whole brain radiotherapy can improve the quality of life and prolong the survival time with good safety.
