Abstract [Objective]To explore the changes of body mass index(BMI)and metabolic indexes in obese young and middle-aged men.[Methods]Totally 75 men aged 20~52 years old were chosen.According to BMI,all subjects were divided into obese group(n=25),overweight group(n=25)and control group(n=25).Metabolic indexes and basic human body parameters among 3 groups were measured and compared.[Results]There were significant difference in systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP), total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),uric acid(UA),T,2 HPG,FINS,2 HINS and HOMA-IR among 3 groups(P<0.01 orP<0.05,respectively).There was no significant difference in HDL-C,LDL-C and FPG among 3 groups(P≥0.05).The factors of multiple linear regression analysis finally entering the regression e-quation were SBP,TC,T and FINS.[Conclusion]The related metabolic factors of early intervention leading to weight gain has the important significance in preventing the occurrence and development of metabolic syn-drome and the related diseases.
