Abstract [Objective]To investigate basic situation of trainees and the efficacy of job-transfer training for general practitioners in Hunan province so as to provide the basis for better training.[Methods]The trainees who participated in job-transfer training for general practitioners of Hunan province in 2012 were chosen as the subj ects.Questionnaires were used before and after the training.The basic situation and training will of the trainees were understood.The course arrangement and training efficacy of these training bases were evaluated.[Results]Totally 1238 questionnaires before the training were issued,and 1000 eligible ones were retrieved with an eligible retrieving rate of 80.78%.Totally 1238 questionnaires after the training were issued,and 1238 eligible ones were retrieved with an eligible retrieving rate of 100%.The age gap of doctors who attended the training was bigger,and most of them were middle-aged and young doctors.The male to female ratio difference was larger,and most of them were men.The professional title was lower and mainly primary title. The education history was not high and mainly college(all P<0.05).The mastery of knowledge of trainees af-ter training was higher than that before training(P<0.05).About 85.9% of trainees were satisfied with the training.[Conclusion]Job-transfer training for general practitioners in 2012 has obvious efficacy,and the students'satisfaction is high.The construction of teaching staff should be strengthened,and the teaching method should be improved in order to improve the training efficacy.
