Abstract [Obj ective]To explore the clinical efficacy of the time between pipeline preshoot and on-line he-modiafiltration(HDF)for preventing the first-use syndrome(FUS).[Methods]Totally 187 patients(17,280 cases of on-line HDF)treated with on-line HDF in blood purification center of the third affiliated hospital of Soochow university from Jan.to Dec.2013 were enrolled in the study.According to the time between pipeline preshoot and on-line HDF(t),all patients were divided into observation group(t=0min),control group Ⅰ(0min30min).The incidence, type and features of FUS in 4 groups were recorded and statistically analyzed.[Results]The incidence of FUS in 17820 cases of on-line HDF was 721 cases(4.172%).The incidence of A-type FUS and B-type FUS was 1 case(0.012%)and 720 cases(4.170%).There was no significant difference in the incidence of A-type FUS a-mong 4 groups(χ2=1.248,P =0.742).There was significant difference in the incidence of B-type FUS a-mong 4 groups(χ2=531.604,P<0.001).[Conclusion]The shortening of the time between pipeline preshoot and on-line HDF is effective to decrease the incidence of B-type FUS.
