Abstract [Objective]To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasound used in the diagnosis of gallbladder carcinoma .[Methods]Color Doppler ultrasound was used for the differential diagnosis of 24 patients with gallblad-der carcinoma diagnosed by CT ,MRI ,pathology and follow up .The tumor size ,boundary ,shape ,echo feature , blood flow signal and its location and character and hemodynamic parameters were examined and compared with those of gallbladder wall of 20 patients without gallbladder disease .[Results]Color Doppler ultrasonic manifesta-tions showed that peak systolic velocity (PSV) ,end diastolic velocity(EDV) of artery ,mean velocity(Vmean) and resistance index (RI) in gallbladder carcinoma group were (30 .4 ± 4 .3)cm/s ,(8 .8 ± 6 .1)cm/s ,(14 .6 ± 5 .2)cm/s and (0 .71 ± 0 .21) respectively ,which were obviously higher than those in normal control group[(14 .3 ± 2 .7)cm/s ,(4 .4 ± 3 .8)cm/s ,(6 .1 ± 3 .4)cm/s and (0 .46 ± 0 .23) ,respectively] ,and there were significant differences( P<0 .01) .The differential diagnosis indicator was gallbladder artery PSV ≥0 .20cm/s .The sensitivity ,specificity , accuracy ,positive predictive value ,negative predictive value and Youden index were 87 .5% ,95 .0% ,90 .91% , 95 .45% ,86 .36% and 0 .825 ,respectively .[Conclusion] Blood flow signal showed by Color Doppler ultrasound combined with ultrasonogram in the diagnosis of patients with gallbladder has an important useful value .
