Abstract [Objective] To explore the status of first ambulation of patients with colorectal cancer ,and to analyze the related factors .[Methods]Totally 100 patients undergoing elective surgery for colorectal cancer were enrolled in the stud-y .According to the accomplishment status of early ambulation ,all patients were divided into accomplishment group and non-accomplishment group .General condition questionnaire ,the log of postoperative early ambulation ,pain self-rating scale and specific condition questionnaire were used to observe and analyze first ambulation status .[Results] Among all patients ,82 patients completed first ambulation and 28 patients did not complete . .The time of first postoperative ambu-lation of all patients after operation was (76 .01 ± 11 .24)h ,and the distance of first walk was 38m .There was no signifi-cant difference in sex ratio and age ratio ( P>0 .05) .There was significant difference in operative site and average time of initial ambulation .Statistical analysis showed that dizziness and pain intensity had greater impact on initial ambulation .[Conclusion]When the patients with colorectal cancer do the initial ambulation after operation ,wound pain and dizziness should be closely observed to ensure the safety of patients .
