Abstract [Objective] To observe the levels of hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ) ,total antioxidant ability (T-Aoc) and 25(OH)D3 in obese neb with normal glucose tolerance(NGT) and its relationship with insulin resist-ance .[Methods] Totally 86 young men(aged 20~45 years old) with NGT were enrolled in the study ,and di-vided into obese group( n=44 ,BMI≥25kg/m2 ) and normal control group( n=42 ,BMI<25kg/m2 ) .H2 O2 , T-Aoc and 25(OH)D3 were measured .The risk factors of insulin resistance with insulin resistance index (Ho-ma-IR) as dependent variable were analyzed by using multiple linear regression .[Results] Diastolic blood pressure(DBP) ,triglyceride(TG) ,Fasting insulin(FINS) ,insulin after 2h-sugar load(2hINS) ,H2O2 and Homa-IR in obese group were higher than those in control group ( P <0 .05) ,while high density lipoprotein (HDL) ,T-Aoc and 25(OH)D3 were lower than those in control group( P<0 .05) .T-Aoc showed a negative correlation with BMI( r = -0 .321) ,DBP( r = -0 .330) and Homa-IR( r = -0 .342)( P < 0 .05) ,and a positivecorrelationwithHDL(r =0.484)and25(OH)D3(r =0.312)(P <0.05).H2O2 showedapositive correlation with BMI( r =0 .302) and Homa-IR( r =0 .381)( P <0 .05) .Multiple linear regression showed that the correlation of 25(OH)D3 and T-AOC with Homa-IR was the strongest .[Conclusion] Obese young men with NGT have the metabolic disorder of blood lipid and blood pressure ,insulin resistance ,vitamin D de-creasing and oxidative stress increasing .Oxidative stress and vitamin D are the important risk factors of insulin resistance .
