| Self-made Traditional Chinese Medicine Ped-bath for the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Obstructive Atherosclerosis of Lower Limbs |

Abstract [Objective]To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine ped-bath for the treatment of obstructive atherosclerosis of lower limbs .[Methods]Totally 120 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group .The control group was given buflomedil 10mg once daily .The treat-ment group was additionally given traditional Chinese medicine ped-bath prescription once daily .The frequen-cy ,duration and degree of pain and ankle brachial index (ABI) before and at the end of 1 and 2 weeks after treatment were observed .[Results] The decreasing of the frequency ,duration and degree of pain ,the im-provement of ABI and the reducing of the recurrence in traditional Chinese medicine group were obviously bet-ter than those in single buflomedil group .[Conclusion] Traditional Chinese medicine ped-bath combined with buflomedil for the treatment of obstructive atherosclerosis of lower limbs has good efficacy .symptom .
