Abstract [Objective]To explore the correlation of serum lipoprotein (a) ,pro-BNP ,troponin I and total bilirubin with the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure .[Methods] A total of 94 patients diagnosed as chronic heart failure in our hospital from Jan .2012 to April 2013 were enrolled as observation group ,and 94 healthy people were included as control group .Serum levels of lipoprotein(a) ,pro-BNP ,troponin I and to-tal bilirubin of two groups were measured and compared .The NYHA classification was applied to evaluate heart function of patients with chronic heart failure ,and the correlation between the above four serum biomar-kers and heart failure was analyzed .[Results]Serum levels of lipoprotein (a) ,pro-BNP ,troponin I and total bilirubin in observation group were higher than those in control group ( P <0 .05) .In observation group ,the above indexes of patients with high grade NYHA were higher than those of patients with low grade NYHA ( P<0 .05) .Logistic regression analysis showed that serum levels of lipoprotein (a) ,pro-BNP ,troponin I and to-tal bilirubin were closely related with the disease ( P <0 .05) .[Conclusion]Compared with control group ,ser-um lipoprotein(a) ,pro-BNP ,troponin I and total bilirubin in patients with chronic heart failure are obviously increased and closely correlated with NYHA class .These biomarkers can reflect the severity of the disease , which suggests that they can be used as the indicators for assessing the prognosis of the disease ,and have clin-ical application value .
