Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the expression level of methylated CpG binding protein 2 (MeCP2) and tenascin C (TNC) in uterinemyoma and its clinical significance. 【Methods】 A total of 109 patients with hysteromyoma treated in the Shaanxi Rehabilitation Hospital from January 2019 to September 2021 were selected as the observation group, and 68 patients who underwent hysterectomy for uterine prolapse in the same period were selected as the control group. The basic data of the two groups of patients were collected, and the expression of MeCP2 and TNC protein in uterinemyoma tissue, adjacent tissue of uterinemyoma in the observation group and uterine smooth muscle tissue in the control group were detected by immunohistochemical method. The expression of MeCP2 and TNC protein in uterine leiomyoma tissue and adjacent tissue of patients with uterine leiomyoma was analyzed, and the influencing factors of uterine leiomyoma were analyzed. At the same time, the relationship between MeCP2 and TNC levels and uterine leiomyoma diameter in the observation group was also analyzed. 【Results】 The positive expression rates of MeCP2 and TNC in uterine leiomyoma were higher than those in adjacent tissues (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that menstrual disorder (OR:3.892, 95%CI:1.576~9.611), the number of abortions (OR:4.293, 95%CI:1.739~10.601), MeCP2 positive (OR:4.495, 95%CI:2.218~9.110), TNC positive expression (OR:4.341, 95%CI:2.142~8.796) were the influencing factors of hysteromyoma (P<0.05). The positive expression rates of MeCP2 and TNC in patients with hysteromyoma ≥ 5 cm were higher than those in patients with hysteromyoma <5 cm (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The occurrence of uterinemyoma is related to the expression of MeCP2 and TNC in uterine smooth muscle tissue, and its expression level may be related to the diameter of uterinemyoma.
