Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the effect of solution focused approach (SFA) on anxiety, depression and living quality of patients with Meniere's disease (MD). 【Methods】 A total of 96 cases of MD patients admitted to hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, There were 48 cases in each group, Patients in the control group were performed routine nursing, and based on this, patients in the observation group were performed SFA. After one week of intervention, the anxiety and depression state of the patients was assessed by the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS), and the symptom onset status of the patients was evaluated with the vestibular symptoms index rating scale (VSI). After 3 months of follow-up visit, the living quality of the patients was assessed by the Chinese edition of short form 36 health survey scale (SF-36). 【Results】 Three cases were dropped off in both groups. After one week of intervention, The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01); the VSI scores of symptom onset were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01); After 3 months of follow-up visit, the scores of various dimensions of living quality in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01,P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 SFA can help to ease the anxiety and depression state of MD patients, relieve symptom onset and improve the living quality.
