Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the clinical value of serum C-reactive protein (CRP) and D-dimer levels in the early differential diagnosis of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (HLAP). 【Methods】 The blood lipids, CRP and D-dimer levels of 70 patients with HLAP (group A) and 70 patients with non-hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (NHLAP,group B) were examined and compared. The receiver's working curve (ROC) was used to obtain the clinical value of differential diagnosis of HLAP and NHLAP patients.【Results】 The levels of total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in the peripheral blood of group A were significantly higher than those of group B (P<0.05). The level of CRP in group A was significantly higher than that in B group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in D-dimer levels between the two groups (P>0.05). The ROC curve was drawn from the CRP levels of two group, and the optimal diagnostic threshold for the differential diagnosis was 118.5mg/L. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P>0.05). The sensitivity of the corresponding point was 84.61%, the specificity was 89.27%, the missed diagnosis rate was 15.39%, the misdiagnosis rate was 10.73%, and the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was 0.867. 【Conclusion】 Serum CRP has a certain clinical value for the differential diagnosis of HLAP and NHLAP patients, D-dimer is not meaningful for the differential diagnosis of NLAP and NHLAP patients.
