Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the correlation of serum cystatin-C (Cys-C), homocysteine (HCY) and beta-trace protein (BTP) levels with the severity in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension. 【Methods】 A total of 82 patients with diagnosis of pregnancy-induced hypertension disease from July 2013 to June 2017 in our hospital were selected as the observation group (group A). According to the severity of the disease, patients were divided into three subgroups: 29 cases of gestational hypertension group (A1), 28 cases of mild preeclampsia group (A2), and 25 cases of severe preeclampsia group (A3). In the same period, 82 healthy pregnant women admitted in our hospital were enrolled as the control group (group B). The levels of serum Cys-C, HCY and BTP, were detected in patients of all groups. The severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension in correlation with the levels of Cys-C, HCY and BTP were analyzed . 【Results】 The levels of serum Cys-C, HCY and BTP in the observation group (A) were higher than those of control group (B) (P<0.05). The levels of serum Cys-C, HCY and BTP in the severe preeclampsia group (A3) were higher than those of mild preeclampsia group (A2) and gestational hypertension group (A1). The levels of group A2 were higher than those of group A1 (P<0.05). Furthermore, the serum levels of Cys-C, HCY and BTP were significantly positively correlated with the severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension. 【Conclusion】 The levels of serum Cys-C, HCY and BTP positively reflected the severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension. Detection of these three serum indicators can help the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pregnancy-induced hypertension .
