Abstract:【Objective】 To compare the curative effect and toxicity of two adjuvant chemotherapy regimens: oxaliplatin with capecitabine vs ECF regimen (epirubicin + cisplatin + leucovorin + fluorouracil) in the treatment of patients with advanced gastric cancer. 【Methods】A total of 100 patients with advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into the control group who underwent the ECF regimen and the observation group who received oxaliplatin combined with capecitabine. There were 50 patients in each group. The efficacy and side effects of the two regimen treatments between the two groups were compared. 【Results】The total effective rate in the observation group was 78% (39/50), slightly higher than 70% (35/50) in the control group. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The incidence of toxic side effects was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group and the difference was significant (P<0.05).【Conclusion】The efficacy of oxaliplatin combined with capecitabine regimen in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer is similar to that of the ECF regimen. However, the patient's tolerance is good, the hospitalization time is short, and the adverse reactions are mild. Patients have good compliance and high quality of life. It is worthy of clinical recommendation.
