Abstract:【Objective】To explore the relationship between bone marrow megakaryocyte number and corresponding therapeutic effect in patients with adult immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).【Methods】A total of 140 adult ITP patients treated in our hospital were selected in this study.Before treatment, all of the patients received bone marrow megakaryocyte smears. According to the number of bone marrow megakaryocyte, patients were divided into three groups: group Ⅰ<7/4.5 cm2, group Ⅱ 7~35/cm2, and group Ⅲ>35/cm2. All patients of the three groups received the same treatment, and the therapeutic effect were compared among them.【Results】The total effective rate was 25.00% (4/16) in group I, 76.47% (26/34) in group Ⅱ, and 93.33% (84/90) in group Ⅲ. The total effective rate of group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that of group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ; The rate of group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of group Ⅰ. The difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.01).【Conclusion】The changes in the number of bone marrow megakaryocytes in adult ITP patients have a great influence on the therapeutic effect. The increase in the number of bone marrow megakaryocytes is beneficial to improve the therapeutic effect.
