Abstract：【Objective】To investigate the curative effect of treatment of uterine prolapse by external suspension of rectus abdominis.【Methods】From January 2013 to March 2017, 60 cases of Ⅱ ~ Ⅲ degree prolapse of uterus were selected and treated by external suspension of rectus abdominis. The index, curative effect and recurrence rate were recorded.【Results】Of 60 patients, the operative time was 57.86 ±23.42 days, the intraoperative bleeding was 80.79 ±28.82 mL, the postoperative exhaust time was 23.22 ±4.10 min / h, the visual analogue pain score was 4.86 ±1.42, and the hospital stay was 6.18 ±1.39 days. In addition, there was no pelvic and abdominal organ injury and bladder injury. 57 cases were cured in 60 cases, the cure rate was 95.00 and only 2 cases recurred and the recurrence rate was 3.33%.【Conclusion】The treatment of uterine prolapse by external suspension of rectus abdominis muscle is effective, high safety and low recurrence rate.
