Abstract:【Objective】To explore the value of dynamic monitoring of reticulocyte count in the evaluation of bone marrow suppression induced by chemotherapy on breast cancer. 【Methods】One hundred and ten patients with breast cancer received chemotherapy. 21d was a course of treatment, and the patients were intervened for 1 ~ 4 courses. The automatic blood cell analyzer was used to determine the percentages of reticulocyte, high fluorescencereticulocyte (HFR) and moderate fluorescencereticulocyte (MFR) before each course of chemotherapy, at 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks after chemotherapy. 【Results】 Compared with those before chemotherapy, RET% and HFR at 1 week and 2 weeks after the 1st ~ 4th course of hcemotherapy were significantly lower, and the difference was significant (P<0.05); At 3 weeks after the 1st ~ 3rd course of hcemotherapy, there were no significant differences in RET%, HFR and MFR, compared with those before chemotherapy (P>0.05);There were no significant differences in MFR at 2 weeks after the 3rd ~ 4th course of chemotherapy, compared with that before chemotherapy (P>0.05); At 3 weeks after the 4th course of chemotherapy, HFR was significantly lower than that before chemotherapy (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The dynamic monitoring of reticulocyte related indexes during different periods of chemotherapy of breast cancer plays an important role in the evaluation of bone marrow suppression and recovery.
