Abstract：【Objective】To evaluate the effect on the quality of sleep in hospitalized patients. 【Methods】Data related to sleep quality of hospitalized patients were retrieved from different resources (CNKI,VIP,Wanfang and Duxiu) and collected from 1990 to 2016. RevMan5.3 software was used for statistical processing. 【Results】A total of 5 articles were included in the meta-analysis. The results showed that Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale (PSQI) scores in the experimental group was higher than those in the control group [random effects model, WMD=3.2,95%CI (2.21,4.18),P<0.001]. Scores of seven dimensions in PSQI of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. 【Conclusion】The sleep quality of hospitalized patients was worse than that of non-hospitalized healthy examinees.
