Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effects of different anesthesia methods on postoperative restlessness and hemodynamic changes in children during recovery period after tonsillectomy. 【Methods】A total of 120 children with tonsillectomy in our hospital were divided into group A, B and C (40 cases in each) according to different anesthesia. Children in group A received sevoflurane with a low dose of dexmedetomidine; group B with sevoflurane plus a single ketamine; group C received sevoflurane and saline. Changes of hemodynamics before and after surgery, and postoperative restlessness were observed and compared among the three groups. 【Results】There were no significant differences in mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR) and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) among the three groups before and after anesthesia induction (P>0.05). The MAP of group A was higher than that of group C at the beginning of operation and at the end of operation (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference between group A and group B (P>0.05). The HR and SpO2 of group A were lower than those of group B and group C at the beginning of operation and at the end of operation (P<0.05). The Ramsay sedation score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B and group C (P<0.05). The extubation and discharge time in group A were shorter than those in group B and group C. significant difference (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Dexmedetomidine can effectively reduce postoperative agitation in children after tonsillectomy recovery period, stabilize hemodynamics and reduce hemodynamic fluctuations during operation. It has good sedation and analgesic effect, it is profound clinical application.
