Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of motivational interviewing on functional exercise in patients with rheumatoid arthritis . 【Methods】A total of 148 cases in our hospital with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were selected from October 2014 to December 2015, the patients were randomly divided into intervention group and control group by random number table. The control group received routine follow-up guidance, health education, rehabilitation training daily guidance and set up electronic records with follow-up according to plan; The intervention group added motivational interviewing on the basis of control group, In 6 months, the hospital discharge and morning stiffness duration of the two groups of patients, pain score, ADL score and patient compliance were evaluated and compared.【Results】 Morning stiffness duration, pain score, ADL score and the effect of compliance at discharge were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Six months after discharge, morning stiffness, pain score, ADL score of the patients in the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group , the compliance was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).【Conclusion】Motivational interviewing has significant effect on the functional exercise of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and has important clinical application value.
