Abstract:【Objective】To explore the application value of behavioral nursing in the rehabilitation of elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).【Methods】A total 105 cases of elderly patients with cerebral infarction treated in our hospital from June 2014 to October 2015 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given behavioral nursing on the basis of routine nursing care. After 4 weeks of intervention, the differences between the ability of daily life, motor function and quality of life between the two groups were compared.【Results】Before intervention, the BI (Barthel Index) scores and total scores of the two groups had no significant difference. After the intervention, the above indexes of the two groups all improved, and the total score of patients in the observation group was higher than that of the control group; the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before the intervention, the FMA (Fugl-Meyer) scores of the two groups had no significant difference; after the intervention, the scores of the two groups were higher than before the intervention, and the score of the observation group increased more significantly (P<0.05). Before intervention, the quality of life score of the two groups had no significant difference; after the intervention, the index of the two groups all increased compared with that before the intervention, and the change in the observation group was more obvious than that in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The application of behavioral nursing in the rehabilitation of elderly patients with cerebral infarction can significantly improve the exercise capacity and improve the quality of life of patients with cerebral infarction.
