Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the anesthetic effect of seven sevoflurane in children with low body mass. 【Methods】A total of 92 cases of low-weight children who were undergoing abdominal surgery were divided using a random number table into a sevoflurane group and a ketamine group, with 46 cases in each group. In the sevoflurane group, 3% sevoflurane was used for inhalation anesthesia for the abdominal surgery. The inhalation concentration increased by 1% for each three breaths, with a maximum control of 5%. In the ketamine group, patients received 5mg / kg ketamine through intravenous anesthesia. The efficacy and safety of the two methods of anesthesia were compared. 【Results】The time of disappearance of eyelash reflex, pain disappearance time, recovery time and postoperative VAS scores were significantly lower in the sevoflurane group than in the ketamine group; the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The fluctuations in MAP, heart rate (HR) and oxygen saturation (SpO2) during surgery and post-operation were more obvious than in the ketamine group than in the sevoflurane group; the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The rate of adverse reactions in the sevoflurane group was 6.52%, significantly lower than the rate of 21.74% in the ketamine group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Seven sevoflurane in children with low body mass has the advantages of quick onset of anesthesia, little effect on hemodynamics and low incidence of adverse reactions after operation.
